At COXSAWS, our chainsaw porting process begins with carefully disassembling the chainsaw to access the engine. We then identify and enlarge the intake and exhaust ports to improve airflow and performance, using precision tools to ensure accuracy. The transfer ports are also modified to enhance the flow of the air-fuel mixture into the cylinder. After these modifications, we polish and smooth the ports to reduce turbulence and ensure efficient airflow. Once the modifications are complete, we reassemble the chainsaw, test its performance, and make any necessary adjustments to optimize its operation.
